Hello Visitors!
Whatever your background, wherever you are in life, whether you know God well or aren’t sure about God, you are welcome at Valdese First Baptist. If you’re familiar with Valdese, just go downtown, turn down Faet Street beside Myra’s, and you’ll run right into our church. (If you're not familiar with Valdese, view these directions.) Please park in the visitor lot we’ve reserved for you and enter our building through the front door. We have a welcome table in the foyer where greeters want to meet you and give you a small gift from our church. Here’s what to expect when you come:

Pews, high ceilings, and a pulpit front and center
Reverent yet warm atmosphere
Children and laypersons leading worship
Bible readings
Sincere prayers
Passionate preaching
Organ and guitar

Encounter with a holy and loving God
The service ends at noon, and I stand at the front door and shake hands as people depart. Please introduce yourself to me as you leave. I’d be honored to meet you. I'd also love for you to consider joining our church.
