We believe in the priesthood of all believers, a doctrine based on 1 Peter 2:9, which calls Christians a “royal priesthood.” It basically means that every believer is a priest who is called to know God personally and minister to others.
The pastor’s job is to equip the priesthood of believers to do God's work in the world. This way, the church becomes empowered as a community instead of becoming dependent on the pastor’s unique talents and personality.
